Logistics - Lead Warehouse Associate
Location: Confidential – U.S. Citizen Required 
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Shift Options: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (Start time must remain consistent)
Overtime: Mandatory as needed


Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Storeroom Warehouse Lead for a confidential client site supporting Department of Defense (DoD) operations. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with growth potential. The individual will be the sole on-site representative (after training) and will oversee daily warehouse operations, material ordering, and shipping/receiving duties.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary on-site warehouse lead responsible for material handling, shipping, and receiving.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

  • Handle inventory management, order processing, and supply chain coordination.

  • Resolve minor on-site issues independently and communicate effectively with off-site support.

  • Coordinate and manage inbound/outbound shipments and ensure all government and customer requirements are met.

  • Load, unload, pick, and prepare orders with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (client will provide certification).

  • Perform regular audits and assist with the build-out of a new shipping/receiving area during the first 6 months.

  • Use software tools (Epicor experience preferred) and Microsoft Office to manage warehouse operations and maintain data integrity.


Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (client requirement for DoD clearance).

  • Ability to obtain Department of Energy (DoE) Security Clearance – additional background screening required.

  • Minimum 4 years of warehouse experience.

  • Prior forklift operation experience required – client will certify.

  • Experience with inventory systems; Epicor software experience preferred.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate reliability.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Capable of lifting 25+ lbs and performing physically demanding tasks.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Basic math skills and the ability to compile reports and correspondence.

  • Must be safety-conscious and able to wear required PPE.


Work Environment:

  • This is a physical, hands-on warehouse role.

  • Steel-toe safety shoes required.

  • Dress code: pants/khakis and a t-shirt or polo (no shorts).

  • Must be comfortable with extended periods of standing, lifting, and warehouse conditions.

  • Overtime and occasional weekend/evening work may be required.
