Express Employment Professionals – Fort Lauderdale is partnering with a well-established waterworks and utility supply distributor in Pompano Beach to hire a Counter Sales Representative. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with strong potential to convert to a long-term position based on performance.
Position Details

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Location: Pompano Beach, FL

Pay Rate: $20–$23 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities

Assist customers at the counter with product selection, pricing, and order processing

Provide excellent customer service to contractors, municipalities, and walk-in customers

Enter orders accurately into the system and process transactions

Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure timely order fulfillment

Answer phone inquiries and assist with basic product questions
-
Maintain a clean, organized counter and showroom area
Qualifications
-
Prior counter sales, inside sales, or customer service experience preferred
-
Experience in plumbing, waterworks, construction, or industrial supplies is a plus
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Comfortable using computers and order-entry systems

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
