Job Overview

Seeking a skilled and reliable Motorcycle / Powersports Mechanic to join a growing team in Jacksonville, FL. This role focuses on servicing and repairing Chinese-manufactured ATVs, dirt bikes, and scooters, ensuring each unit is safe, reliable, and ready for customers.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment. Experience with powersports diagnostics, routine maintenance, and mechanical repairs is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on ATVs, dirt bikes, and scooters

  • Perform routine maintenance including:

    • Oil changes

    • Tire mounting, balancing, and replacement

    • Chain, sprocket, and brake service

  • Repair engines, drivetrains, suspension, and electrical systems

  • Assemble and prep units as needed (PDI and post-delivery inspections)

  • Accurately document repairs and service work performed

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

  • Follow manufacturer guidelines and internal service procedures

  • Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding findings and repair needs

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to lift and maneuver up to 200 lbs (with assistance or equipment when needed)

  • Stand, bend, kneel, and work with tools for extended periods

  • Comfortable working with gas-powered and electric units

  • Ability to work indoors and occasionally outdoors in a shop environment

Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience working on Chinese ATVs, dirt bikes, and scooters (Vitacci, Icebear, Lance/SYM, etc. preferred)

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

  • Experience with small-displacement engines and CVT systems

  • Basic electrical knowledge (wiring, stators, batteries, ignition systems)

  • Own basic mechanic tools

  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Powersports, motorcycle, or small-engine mechanic experience

  • Familiarity with service documentation or DMS systems

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs efficiently
