JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assisting Bakery preparations working with dough and ingredients to finished pastries, cookies, and various items on the assembly line.
• Cutting of dough, embedding diced fruit on dough, transferring of trays of dough to racks, transfer racks to oven and remove rack from oven for cooling.
• Wrapping of cookies and baked goods onto conveying belts of flow wrapping machines.
• Packing into boxes and labeling and dating boxes.
• Set up packaging material based on order, fill based on matrix, insert packing materials to complete the products; packing specifications are met.
• Memorization of matrix of each packaged box.
• Fill packaged products into cases and date and store in designated location.
• Ensure that raw ingredients and raw materials used are of good quality and appropriate quantity.
• Make sure that all perishable items are stored and rotated properly.
• Observe color of cookies (unbaked and baked) and inform baker of not up to standard quality.
• Ensure all bakery products and ingredients are properly labeled and dated following FIFO and best before date standard protocols.
• Adheres to all safety guidelines in the production and handling of materials in the factory.
• Report any issues or problems with production to immediate supervisor.
• Respect and supports supervisors and managers.
• Participate in training and progress developments.
• Perform other duties as assigned including housekeeping of common area and restrooms and perform laundry service in factory.

 

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

 

• Ability to work at a face paced in a team environment.
• Perform steady and productive work for an extended period.
• Able to understand and follow oral or written work instructions in Spanish
• Wear protective gear, AND mask as required.
