Job Title:             Manufacturing Operator 

Department:      Manufacturing

Location:             Miami, Florida

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION: Assemble components, subassemblies and final assemblies.  Package assemblies. 

MAJOR DUTIES OF POSITION:

1. Complete training on the approved assembly and testing methods.
2. Assemble components, subassemblies and final assemblies in accordance with approved operation procedures and travelers.
3. Document activities in accordance with operation procedures and applicable general operating procedures.
4. Work with microscope for an extended period of time
5. Maintain personal health and cleanliness in accordance with applicable general operating procedures.
6. Maintain work area and local environment in accordance with applicable general operating procedures.
7. Assure that all measuring instruments that are used are within calibration limits.
8. Assure individual and group safety when conducting all activities.
9. Maintain effective communications with supervisor and peers in daily activities.
10. Work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

1. High school diploma preferred.
2. Prior experience working in a medical device manufacturing environment is a plus.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

1. Capable of lifting at least 50 lb of weight.
2. Able to work in an industrial environment.
