Job Full Description
Plant Electrician - Contract Electrician Overtime
Monday to Friday
7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Express Employment Professionals in Miami Dade South is currently hiring an experienced Electrician for a local company in the Hometead Area, position is full-time (overtime) and has long-term opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment
- Remain in compliance with current National Electric Code
- Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switch gears
- Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs
- Run computer cables, connect computer jacks and plugs and test for adequate operation
- Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects
- Survey electrical systems, circuits and plans
- Pulling electrical wiring through electrical conduit.
- Be able to Read Blue Prints.
- Cutting, bending, threading and running electrical conduit materials.
- Experience bending offsets, saddles, kicks, MUST bend perfect conduit!
- Assisting in terminating electrical panels, set fixtures, outlets, and various electrical devices.
- Must be dependable and willing to complete the project from start to finish.
- Other assigned tasks and duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Have at least 5-6 + years Recent Commercial Experience for (Mechanics) 8+ Electricians
- Must be able to work independently as well in a team environment.
- Be able to work with Minimal Supervision
- DRUG-FREE Workplace
- All Hand Tools required
