Job Summary: We are seeking an Assistant Plant Manager to support day-to-day operations for a client in the agricultural/production industry. This role assists in overseeing workflow, coordinating staff, and ensuring production goals are met efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities may include monitoring productivity, supporting team leadership, maintaining quality standards, and helping manage inventory and daily farm or plant operations.
Responsibilities:
- Crop Production: Guide the entire process of plant cultivation, from start to finish.
- Plant Monitoring: Regularly check on plants to monitor their health, growth, and development.
- Environmental Management: Oversee and maintain optimal conditions for plant growth.
- Pest and Nutrient Control: Implement strategies for pest management and ensure proper nutrient delivery through fertilizers and irrigation.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of crop performance, care, and production metrics.
- Safety and Quality: Adhere to all company safety, quality, and operational standards.
Schedule & Pay:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 3:00PM
- Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 P/H
Qualifications:
- Passion for Plants A strong interest in plants, farming, and agriculture is essential.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and oversee outdoor production teams.
- Agricultural Expertise: Knowledge of crop production systems and best practices.
- Operational Skills: Understanding of irrigation, pest management, and fertilization techniques.
- Record Keeping: Ability to track and analyze production data.
- Teamwork: Willingness to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.
- Safety Focus: Commitment to following established safety protocols.
