Housekeeping Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to oversee daily housekeeping operations within a hotel environment. The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness, safety, and quality standards while leading, training, and supporting the housekeeping team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations for guest rooms and public areas
- Supervise, schedule, and support housekeeping staff
- Inspect rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met
- Train, coach, and evaluate housekeeping team members
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment
- Coordinate with Front Desk and Maintenance to ensure efficient room turnover and address issues
- Handle guest concerns related to cleanliness promptly and professionally
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety, and sanitation standards
- Maintain accurate records related to staffing, inspections, and supplies
Schedule & Pay:
- Schedule: Monday – Sunday | Five (5) Days | 8:00AM – 5:00PM
- Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 P/H
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality management experience required
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of hotel cleaning standards and safety procedures
- Ability to manage schedules, priorities, and deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for extended periods
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
