Job Summary: The Financial Analyst will engage in full cycle financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting in an accurate and timely manner, while reporting on such items through written reports, key performance indicators, ESG impact, and other ad-hoc areas of focus towards overall operational excellence and business improvement opportunities for the Company. This role is expected to be a quick learner, self-sufficient, and reliable with a go-getter mentality to deliver results in a consistent, timely, and accurate manner.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build comprehensive understanding of company operations through cross-departmental collaboration, tracking KPIs and critical business metrics including production costs and operational performance while developing complex budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling tools
  • Design and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to track financial and operational KPIs, writing optimized SQL queries to automate data extraction from multiple sources while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity
  • Deliver periodic and ad-hoc financial reports and analyses for leadership and stakeholders across all organizational levels, including full-scale financial statement and cash flow modeling with detailed attention to key inputs and drivers
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accounting quality, while driving internal control initiatives and proactively developing value-adding strategic projects in collaboration with Finance and cross-functional teams

Schedule & Pay:

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday | Standard Business Hours
  • Pay: $75,000 - $80,000

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field (Master's preferred) with 2-5 years of experience in corporate FP&A or analytical roles, preferably in Aquaculture or Agriculture industries
  • Strong financial and accounting analytical skills with knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and financial statement preparation, combined with superior proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
  • Highly organized team player with exceptional integrity, strong written and verbal communication skills, and proven ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while proactively delivering value and collaborating effectively across all organizational levels
