Job Title: Medical Assistant (Cardiac Clinic)
Location: Cardiac Specialty Clinic
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour (based on experience)
Job Summary:
Our busy Cardiac Clinic is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be patient-focused, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced specialty environment. This role supports physicians and clinical staff in providing high-quality cardiovascular care while ensuring efficient patient flow throughout the clinic.
Responsibilities:

Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints

Prepare patients for cardiac examinations and procedures

Assist physicians with clinical procedures as needed

Perform EKGs and other basic cardiac-related clinical tasks (preferred)

Accurately document patient information in the EWC electronic medical record (EMR) system

Manage patient flow and ensure timely room turnover

Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with patient coordination

Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and clinical supplies

Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication
Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience required

Experience in a cardiology or specialty clinic preferred

Familiarity with EWC EMR strongly preferred

Strong clinical and organizational skills

Excellent patient communication and customer service skills

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required
