Schedule: Full-Time (Weekdays + Rotating Weekends)

We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced urgent care center in Miami Beach. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality, efficient care to patients of all ages in a welcoming and professional environment.

Responsibilities:

Greet and room patients in a timely and professional manner

Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints

Assist providers with examinations and procedures

Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, and specimen collection

Prepare and clean exam rooms between patients

Perform basic lab testing and process lab specimens
-
Administer medications and vaccines as directed
-
Manage patient documentation in EMR system
-
Provide excellent customer service and patient education
-
Maintain compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standards
Qualifications:

Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA preferred)

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (urgent care or emergency setting preferred)

Proficiency with EMR systems

Strong phlebotomy and injection skills

Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

CPR/BLS certification required
