Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide assessments for children with Autism in the Fort Myers area. This role focuses on conducting one-on-one evaluations to support diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform occupational therapy assessments for pediatric patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Conduct thorough, one-hour evaluations per patient
- Document findings and provide clear, concise reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams as needed
- Maintain a patient-centered and family-friendly approach
Requirements:
- Active Florida Occupational Therapist license
- Experience working with children, preferably with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
