Job Title: Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) – Full-Time / Part-Time
Location: Brickell / Miami, FL
Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN (Flexible Scheduling Available)
About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Brickell area. This role is ideal for a dedicated RN who is passionate about providing high-quality care to patients with chronic kidney disease and those undergoing hemodialysis treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care during dialysis treatments
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
- Assess vital signs and respond to complications or emergencies
- Operate and maintain dialysis equipment safely
- Administer medications as prescribed, including IV therapies
- Perform and manage IV access, cannulation, and vascular access care with a high level of skill
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and lifestyle management
- Collaborate with nephrologists and interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Minimum 2 year of dialysis experience preferred (will consider strong acute care RNs with training)
- Strong IV therapy skills required (IV insertion, management, and troubleshooting)
- Experience with vascular access (AV fistulas, grafts, catheters) preferred
- Knowledge of hemodialysis procedures and equipment
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
