Job Full Description
Your primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to,
- Monitoring all inbound deliveries; ensuring purchase order numbers are on all paperwork
- Receiving parts and vehicles off incoming trucks and unloading merchandise
- Inspecting, and subsequently accepting or rejecting, inbound shipments
- Properly inputting received material into computer system and forwarding proper documentation to the accounts payable department.
- Delivering products to appropriate personnel – ensuring all pathways are kept clear
- Operating the forklift to off-load trucks in accordance with Company protocol
- Identifying damaged or lost goods as they are received and notify the purchasing agent to ensure replacements are ordered and claims are made for reimbursement if necessary.
- Storing received goods in appropriate location in the warehouse
- Ensuring the warehouse is clean, properly stocked, and maintained at all times
- Ability to lift 50lb overhead
