Customer Service Representative / Purchasing
Job Summary:
Are you someone who thrives at the intersection of customer relationships and operational precision? We're looking for a driven Customer Service Representative / Purchasing professional to join a fast-paced technical environment where no two days look the same. In this hands-on role, you'll serve as a vital link between clients and internal teams — managing RFQs, coordinating orders, sourcing parts, and ensuring every customer interaction reflects the highest standard of service. Requirements:
- Manage all customer communications including RFQs, quote follow-ups, repair status updates, and order management from initiation to fulfillment.
- Source parts and materials from approved vendors, obtain and negotiate competitive quotes, and monitor lead times to ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with internal departments — Production, Engineering, Quality, and Shipping — to align on customer requirements and delivery schedules.
- Support administrative functions related to purchasing workflows, vendor relationships, and documentation as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Purchasing and vendor management experience with solid organizational and follow-up capabilities.
- Experience in aviation, aerospace, MRO, or a technical manufacturing environment preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
