Job Full Description
Position Summary
We are seeking dependable, hardworking Line Cooks to join the kitchen team at a restaurant group here in the keys area. The ideal candidates will have previous kitchen experience, a passion for preparing quality food, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and quality standards.

Set up and stock kitchen stations before service.

Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control.

Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.

Keep kitchen stations clean, organized, and properly stocked.
-
Work closely with chefs, kitchen staff, and servers to ensure timely food preparation.

Monitor food inventory and communicate when supplies are running low.

Assist with food preparation, chopping, portioning, and other kitchen duties.

Properly store ingredients and label food according to safety guidelines.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment throughout each shift.
Qualifications
-
Previous experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook preferred.

Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.

Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.

Ability to follow recipes and instructions.

Must be reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies as needed.

Food Handler Certification preferred.
Schedule Requirements

Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and busy restaurant shifts.

Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
