Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. The ideal candidate is experienced in handling a broad range of bookkeeping and accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accepted policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process

  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial statements

  • Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner

  • Maintain and balance the general ledger

  • Generate financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

  • Assist in budget preparation and forecasting

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations (e.g., tax filings, sales tax)

  • Manage and organize financial documents and records

  • Liaise with external accountants or auditors as needed

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

  • Knowledge of payroll and tax regulations a plus
