Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. The ideal candidate is experienced in handling a broad range of bookkeeping and accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process

Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial statements

Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner

Maintain and balance the general ledger

Generate financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

Assist in budget preparation and forecasting

Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations (e.g., tax filings, sales tax)

Manage and organize financial documents and records
-
Liaise with external accountants or auditors as needed
Qualifications:
-
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role

Solid understanding of accounting principles

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel
-
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Strong organizational and time-management skills
-
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Knowledge of payroll and tax regulations a plus
