Job Full Description
Summary
We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Maintenance Assistant to work alongside the Maintenance Technician in maintaining and repairing production equipment and machinery. This role is ideal for someone with experience in industrial maintenance and knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems. The Maintenance Assistant will help ensure processing equipment, cranes, and other machinery remain in safe and efficient working condition.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with maintenance and repair of production equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot issues with processing equipment, cranes, and related systems
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
• Work with electrical and hydraulic systems
• Inspect equipment to identify wear, damage, or safety concerns
• Maintain tools, parts, and maintenance records
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications
• Previous industrial maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems required
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Dependable with excellent attendance and work ethic
Location: Pensacola, FL
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay: $20 - $21/hr Depending on Experience
Schedule:
• Monday – Thursday, 6:00am–3:00pm
• Friday, 6:00am–12:00pm
