Job Full Description
We are partnered with a family owned manufacturer seeking a full-time warehouse shipping and receiving candidate to join their team. Your daily primary duties would include picking, packing, and shipping orders.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate:
$19/hour
Job Responsibilities:
● Prepare and process shipments using UPS, FedEx, Postal services, and Sage accounting software.
● Receive and organize incoming shipments while keeping accurate records.
● Handle boxes and materials regularly, maintaining safety and proper lifting techniques.
● Work alongside the shipping manager and office staff to ensure smooth workflow.
● Maintain an orderly and organized shipping area to prevent errors and confusion.
● Communicate effectively with team members and office staff.
● Work efficiently under stress on busy days while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
● Assist with side projects as needed to support overall shipping operations.
Qualifications:
● Ability to lift and handle boxes and remain on your feet for extended periods.
● Comfortable working in a warehouse environment without air conditioning or heating.
● Strong communication and teamwork skills.
● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Ability to work efficiently under stress and manage time effectively.
● English speaking required.
