We are partnered with a Public Accounting firm in Downtown Sarasota hiring for a Staff Tax Accountant. Our client is a well-established 40 year old, single site, boutique public accounting firm in the heart of downtown Sarasota. They continue to grow and are looking for a Staff Tax Accountant to join their firm. There are definite career growth opportunities including, in time, into a shareholder. Position description:
We are seeking an experienced CPA, EA, or CPA candidate, who is meticulous, energized to learn and excited about the opportunity to continue building their career.
Expectations:
• Strong experience with preparation and review of corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns are a must. Knowledge of Ultra Tax and Lacerte a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Critical thinking, problem solving, research skills and determination.
• Solid time management skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop client relationships.
Required Qualifications:
• CPA, CPA Candidate, or EA with a min. 2 - 5 years of current public accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Accounting.
Schedule:
Full time
Additional hours required during Tax season - February-April
15th and September-October 15th.
