Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse & Forklift Associate to support daily warehouse operations, equipment handling, and customer service. This role involves loading/unloading, order staging, inventory support, and assisting both internal teams and customers.
The ideal candidate is safety-focused, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with unloading inbound deliveries using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor
- Accurately pick, stage, and prepare equipment for customer and internal orders
- Support drivers with loading and unloading equipment while preventing damage
- Assist customers with loading, securing, and unloading equipment, including large shipments
- Support warehouse operations including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory organization
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism
- Open and close warehouse facilities following security procedures
Qualifications
- Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment (sit-down, reach truck, order picker preferred)
- Ability to safely move equipment in and out of buildings and trailers
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented
- Ability to read and follow procedures and documentation
- Willingness to occasionally travel to other locations
Skills & Requirements
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication skills (bilingual Spanish is a plus)
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritize workload
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to lift, push, pull, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
- Exposure to heat, humidity, outdoor conditions, and warehouse noise
- Must follow all safety procedures and guidelines at all times
