Job Full Description
We are seeking a hands-on Finishing & Grinding Technician to support production by preparing and finishing metal components to meet quality and performance standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring products are properly assembled, finished, and ready for final processes such as powder coating.
Key Responsibilities
- Grind, sand, and finish metal components to meet specifications
- Perform sub-assembly of fabricated parts as needed
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and finish products
- Inspect parts for defects and ensure all products meet quality standards
- Make adjustments to bring parts within tolerance
- Prepare materials for powder coating
- Report quality issues, part shortages, or production concerns
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Work collaboratively with fabrication and production teams to meet daily goals
Qualifications
- Experience in metal finishing, grinding, or manufacturing preferred
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Basic welding or blueprint reading experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
