Job Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a Counter Sales Representative for a well-established Sarasota-area company. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, processing orders, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while assisting both walk-in customers and phone inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

Assist walk-in customers with product inquiries and purchases

Answer incoming phone calls and provide product and order information

Process customer orders accurately and efficiently

Enter orders, customer information, and sales data into company systems

Prepare invoices and other sales-related documentation

Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory tracking

Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfillment

Provide exceptional customer service and build positive customer relationships

Assist with stocking and organizing inventory as needed

Perform general counter sales and administrative duties
Qualifications
-
Previous customer service, counter sales, retail sales, or inside sales experience preferred

Strong computer and data entry skills

Experience processing orders and handling customer transactions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Basic inventory management knowledge preferred

Experience with invoicing and point-of-sale systems is a plus
