Our client is seeking a dependable Porter/Groundskeeper to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of a local shopping center. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active throughout the day, and taking pride in keeping a property clean, safe, and welcoming.
Responsibilities:
- Keep walkways, common areas, and grounds clean and free of debris
- Empty trash receptacles throughout the property
- Wipe down handrails, window sills, and other common area surfaces as needed
- Remove cobwebs and maintain the overall appearance of the property
- Utilize a golf cart to travel throughout the community while completing daily tasks
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management
- Support the overall cleanliness and presentation of the community
Qualifications:
- Reliable and self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the shift
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain on your feet for most of an 8-hour shift
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to walk long distances throughout the property
- Ability to lift, carry, and move cleaning supplies and equipment as needed
Dress Code:
- Polo shirt and khaki shorts required
