Job Full Description
Express Employment is seeking an experienced Shop Mechanic for a reputable Industrial Repair company in Tampa. This hands-on role is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding various types of electric motors.
Responsibilities
-
Tear down, inspect, diagnose, and rebuild electric motors

Repair or replace faulty components and perform final testing

Communicate findings and repair recommendations to the GM
-
Maintain accurate repair records
-
Keep shop areas clean, organized, and properly stocked
-
Assist with additional duties as needed
Qualifications
-
Minimum 5 years of motor rebuilding experience (required)

Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
-
Proficient with diagnostic tools and testing equipment

Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and manage priorities
