Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrician to oversee residential and light commercial electrical projects. The ideal candidate is a licensed electrician with strong leadership skills, the ability to manage job sites, and a commitment to high-quality, code-compliant work.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical crews on job sites
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in residential and light commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical plans
- Ensure all work meets NEC, local codes, and safety standards
- Coordinate project timelines, materials, and inspections
- Train and mentor apprentices and junior electricians
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and management
Qualifications
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license (state-appropriate)
- 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and ladders
