Manufacturing Warehouse Associate
Position Responsibilities:
- Assembling and kitting products in accordance with appropriate work instructions to achieve the highest quality.
- Comprehend and verify assembly standards to optimize material flow and assembly processes.
- Plan and schedule activities necessary to meet planned customer shipments.
- Package and process products in preparation for outbound freight and parcel shipments.
- Maintain appropriate paperwork/documentation.
- Inspect manufactured assemblies as required.
- Configure and provision products to customer specific requirements when necessary.
- Prepare daily shipments using UPS, FedEx, and third-party shipping platforms.
- Work with the Purchasing Manager to maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Accurately record and process transactions in ERP/MRP system.
- Creating Work Orders to properly transact material through manufacturing process.
- Receive and inspect warranty returns per established processes.
- The ability to meet deadlines and be flexible and work night or weekend hours if required.
- Inspect manufactured assemblies as required.
- Maintain inventory by identifying and recording materials in stock locations by conducting accurate cycle counts.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma
- 2+ years of manufacturing or warehouse production experience preferred
- Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems preferred.
- Self-starting, Self -supervising, multi-disciplinary individual possessing organizational skills with the ability to analyze information.
- Experience shipping products using UPS, FedEx, and third-party shipping software.
- Experience in manufacturing mechanical assembly and component kitting preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-moving environment with high attention to detail.
- PC end user computer skills: proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication as well as organizational skills.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. throughout an 8- to 10-hour shift.
- Ability to work night or weekend hours if required.
