Customer Service Coordinator (Transportation Experience a Plus)

Pay: $18/hour

Schedule:

  • Saturday: 9am-5pm

  • Sunday: 11am-7pm

  • Tues/Wed/Thurs:  9am-5pm

  • Mon/Fri:  OFF

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Coordinator to support daily operations and assist customers with reservations and service inquiries. The ideal candidate excels in communication, organization, and problem-solving. Experience working with cars, buses, or transportation operations is a plus, especially familiarity with DOT requirements, but strong customer service skills are the priority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by handling reservations via phone and email

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, drivers, and internal teams

  • Assist with scheduling, coordinating, and updating customer bookings

  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation

  • Support general office and administrative tasks as needed

  • Collaborate with operations staff to ensure smooth service delivery

  • (Preferred) Assist with basic transportation-related tasks, including understanding DOT compliance, vehicle scheduling, or fleet coordination

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Professional, organized, and detail-oriented

  • Ability to manage phone and email reservations accurately

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with cars, buses, fleet operations, or DOT compliance is a plus, not required

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team
