Client Services Specialist - Wealth Advisory Firm
$60-$80K annual salary based on experience
Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated professional to join a Tampa-area wealth advisory firm as a Client Services Specialist. This role supports High-Net-Worth (HNW) clients, estate planning initiatives, annuity onboarding, and overall Assets Under Management (AUM) growth. You will serve as the primary liaison between clients, financial advisors, and custodians throughout the onboarding and implementation process. The ideal candidate delivers a seamless, high-touch experience to affluent clients, manages complex account documentation, supports estate planning strategies, processes annuities and investment products, and contributes to new AUM growth through exceptional service and referral cultivation.
Key Responsibilities
1. New Business Onboarding & Account Opening

Manage the full onboarding lifecycle for new HNW clients, including ACATS transfers and opening brokerage, advisory, and custodial accounts (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity).

Prepare, review, and process new account applications, transfers, and complex legal documents for trust, estate, and entity accounts with complete accuracy.

Submit, track, and manage annuity applications, conversions, and policy changes.
2. Client Service & Relationship Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for new clients, providing proactive, high-touch communication throughout the onboarding process.

Collaborate with advisors to implement financial, tax, and estate planning strategies.

Prepare materials for client meetings, including performance reports, financial plans, and agendas.
3. Operational & Technical Support

Maintain accurate and detailed client records in CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.

Generate reports using portfolio management systems including Envestnet, Morningstar, or Albridge.

Process wires, ACH transfers, RMDs, and—if appropriately registered—execute trades in equities, bonds, and mutual funds.
4. Compliance & Risk Management
Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience: Minimum 3 years in client services within an RIA, Broker-Dealer, or Private Wealth Management environment

Knowledge: Strong understanding of investment products (equities, fixed income, mutual funds), annuities, estate planning, and trust administration

Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related field

Certifications: Florida 2-15 Life, Health & Annuities License preferred but not required

Technology: Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce), custodial platforms (Schwab, Fidelity, etc.), and Microsoft Office Suite
