Counter Sales Associate - HVAC
Location: Tampa, FL
Schedule: 7:30AM-4:00PM Mon-Fri
$20-$21/HR based on experience
An HVAC Counter Sales representative acts as the primary point of contact for contractors and technicians purchasing HVAC/R equipment, parts, and supplies at a wholesale branch. They provide expert product recommendations, process orders via phone/in-person, manage inventory, and drive sales, usually requiring technical knowledge and strong customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
-Order Processing: Handling in-person, phone, email, and text orders from technicians.
-Technical Support: Identifying parts and recommending equipment solutions to customers.
-Sales Generation: Promoting new products, managing quotes, and closing sales.
-Inventory Management: Stocking shelves, checking inventory, and managing warehouse stock.
-Customer Service: Building relationships with contractors to drive repeat business.
Requirements & Skills
-HVAC Knowledge: Understanding of HVAC/R parts and equipment is typically required.
-Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with contractors.
-Computer Literacy: Proficiency in inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
-Physical Stamina: Occasional light lifting of parts.
-Knowledge in POS Systems, Epicore and Eclipse Software
