Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Powder Coater to join a production team. This role involves prepping parts, applying powder coating using spray guns, operating curing equipment, and ensuring high-quality finishes. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment and following safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities

Prep and hang parts for coating (cleaning, sanding, masking, degreasing)

Operate powder coating spray guns and equipment

Apply coatings evenly and according to specifications

Inspect parts for quality, coverage, and defects
-
Load and unload parts from ovens and racks

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow all safety guidelines, including PPE requirements

Assist with material handling as needed

Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

Work with team members to meet production goals
Requirements
-
Experience in powder coating (preferred or required depending on employer)

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods

Knowledge of spray guns, coating thickness, and curing processes

Strong attention to detail and quality

Ability to work in hot environments near ovens

Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

Ability to read work orders and follow instructions
Preferred Qualifications
