CNC Operator – Manufacturing / Production
Location: Westchase, FL (33626)
Pay: $18–$25/hr, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM No overtime
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience with CNC machining, tooling, and quality checks.
Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders

Perform machine adjustments, tool changes, and offsets

Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges

Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues

Maintain accurate production and quality records

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Requirements
-
Previous experience as a CNC Operator or Machinist

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

Knowledge of machining tools, feeds, speeds, and materials

Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and stand for long periods

Strong attention to detail and quality

Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with CNC mills, lathes, or both

Familiarity with G-code or basic programming

Experience in a manufacturing or machine-shop environment

Ability to perform basic machine maintenance
