Distribution Clerk - Warehouse & Administrative
Location: Tampa, FL 33634
Schedule: Monday–Friday 8am-5pm
Pay: $16/HR
Work Split: ~30% computer-based, ~70% warehouse duties
Position Overview
The Distribution Clerk supports daily warehouse operations while completing computer-based tasks and learning every department within the facility. This role acts as a key communication point and helps keep operations running smoothly, especially when the Warehouse Supervisor is unavailable.
Primary Responsibilities

Prepare international shipping documentation in-house, with future responsibility for freight forwarder and customs paperwork

Learn company systems and complete assigned computer tasks

Perform inventory cycle counts

Cross-train across all departments to provide coverage during absences

Communicate professionally via phone, email, and in person

Assist with receiving and processing incoming parts

Build product kits
-
Put inventory away accurately

Pull and pack customer orders

Investigate customer concerns and work with other departments to resolve issues

Complete special projects as assigned

Assist with production machines

Learn and safely operate a forklift
Qualifications

Fluent in English; bilingual candidates preferred

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficient computer skills, including intermediate Microsoft Excel

Excellent organization and multitasking abilities

Able to handle frequent interruptions while staying productive

Self-motivated and able to work independently

Willingness to learn new processes, equipment, and responsibilities

Ability to perform physical work throughout the day (lifting, standing, moving throughout the warehouse)

Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on motivating team members, improving productivity, and maintaining efficient operations
