Quality Control Manager - Manufacturing/Dietary Supplements
Location: Tampa, FL 33634
Schedule: M-F 7:30am-4pm
Pay: $72,800 annual salary, $35/HR
General Purpose
The QA Manager is responsible for ensuring the quality of in-process and finished products, overseeing documentation, data integrity, label control, and maintaining substantial compliance with cGMP (21 CFR Part 111).
Key Responsibilities

Manage QC personnel performing verification, inspection, and testing of materials, products, packaging, and labeling

Oversee quality processes including specifications, forms, label control, batch record issuance, and equipment records

Review, approve, and release batch records
-
Maintain and improve quality systems; collect and analyze quality data

Manage calibration programs and coordinate activities with external labs
-
Audit laboratory results and maintain Certificates of Analysis

Communicate essential quality information across departments

Support production and shipping timelines through cross-department collaboration
-
Coordinate reserve sample storage
-
Prepare, revise, review, and approve SOPs and controlled documents

Conduct training as needed

Perform all other duties assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Experience
-
5+ years in a cGMP environment (Dietary Supplements, Drugs, Cosmetics, or Medical Devices)
-
3+ years of supervisory experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
-
Strong understanding of cGMP, 21 CFR 111, SOPs, and Batch Records
-
Knowledge of 21 CFR 210/211 preferred

Team leadership and development skills

Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Strong writing, proofreading, and communication skills

Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
