Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:

Must be familiar with tools applicable to position

janitorial aptitude and working knowledge of tools

Extensive knowledge of janitorial equipment

Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning floors, windows, mirrors, walls and other frequently used surfaces
- Emptying trash cans and recycling bins
- Sanitizing bathrooms and other areas, such as classrooms or office workspaces
- Restocking essential facility supplies, such as toilet paper and hand soap
- Performing minor repairs, such as replacing light bulbs or tightening handrails
- Keeping janitorial equipment, such as floor buffers and vacuums, in good condition
- Securing a facility once maintenance tasks are complete
- Utilize various cleaning products to ensure proper disinfection and sanitation of designated facilities.
- Observe proper federal laws concerning proper handling and storage of graded disinfectants.
- Review Safety Data Sheets to apply safety precautions when utilizing graded disinfectants.
- Track inventory supplies
