Job Full Description
This position involves repetitive bench and production line assembly work to manufacture swimming pool filters, housings, and cartridges.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble components by bolting, clipping, screwing, cementing, or fastening parts together.
- Place parts in specified relationships according to production requirements.
- Operate machinery such as staple machines and rotary equipment.
- Work at multiple workstations and rotate between assembly tasks as needed.
- Support production line operations for different product models.
- Crosstrain on existing and new manufacturing processes.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Complete other assigned production-related duties.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 to 3 months of related manufacturing, assembly, or production experience preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Physical Requirements
- Regular standing throughout the shift.
- Frequent use of hands for handling, assembling, and manipulating parts.
- Frequent reaching with hands and arms.
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Requires good depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
