Description:
A Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of a building's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This role involves performing routine inspections, conducting repairs, and maintaining the overall condition of the building and its facilities. The Building Maintenance Technician is a crucial part of the facility management team, contributing to the safety, comfort, and functionality of the building and its occupants.
Key Responsibilities:
Routine Inspections: Perform regular inspections of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and fire safety equipment, to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute a preventive maintenance schedule to ensure that all equipment and systems are serviced regularly, minimizing the risk of breakdowns and maximizing their lifespan.
Repairs and Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues related to the building's infrastructure, such as leaks, electrical malfunctions, faulty equipment, and other maintenance-related problems.
