Immediate Hiring: Yard Workers (2 Openings) - Ellenwood, GA

Our customer in Ellenwood, GA is seeking 2 experienced Yard Workers for an immediate start on 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday). If you're dependable, safety-focused, and have experience operating forklifts and trailers, we want to hear from you today!

Required Qualifications

• Class A CDL required
• 1-2 years of forklift operating experience or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a yard worker environment
• Experience backing and maneuvering 53-foot trailers
• Familiarity with shipping practices and material handling methods
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently
• Strong work ethic and commitment to arriving at work on time every day

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and yard vehicles within the facility
• Move trailers and materials throughout the yard
• Operate vehicles under 15 mph in and around the facility
• Back trailers into designated locations safely and efficiently
• Assist with shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading activities
• Follow all company safety procedures and regulations

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to use hands and arms to reach, handle, and move materials
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb in and out of vehicles
• Ability to occasionally work at heights
• Ability to work in outdoor environments with exposure to wet and humid conditions
