Job Full Description
The Production Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring production processes used to manufacture specification-compliant assemblies and finished products.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment and processes.
- Perform production start-ups and changeovers according to specifications.
- Load production equipment with parts and replace trays as required.
- Inspect production lots and perform visual quality inspections.
- Enter production status information into production terminals.
- Follow instructions when completing equipment/process conversions.
- Maintain accurate production and batch documentation.
- Complete required documentation and approvals within MES.
- Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience/training preferred.
- Good understanding of production processes.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- Quality and safety focused.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with systems such as MES, ERP software, and Microsoft Office.
- Dependable, flexible, and detail-oriented.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and process-oriented skills.
