General Labor – Fabrication Assistant
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
We are seeking a dependable and motivated individual for a General Labor/Fabrication Assistant position with one of our great clients in Acworth, GA. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a long-term career and interested in learning new skills in a manufacturing environment.
Duties:
- Assist with fabrication and general production tasks.
- Use drills, saws, and various hand tools.
- Read and accurately use a tape measure.
- Assist with cutting, drilling, and assembling materials.
- Follow instructions and company safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with other general labor duties as needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate!
- Must be dependable and motivated to work.
- Must be willing to learn new skills.
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Must be interested in a long-term career opportunity.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and stoop throughout the workday.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing environment
- Loud at times
- Not climate controlled
- Must be comfortable working on your feet throughout the shift
