Job Full Description
We’re looking for motivated individuals with some welding experience who are ready to grow their skills. This role is perfect for someone who’s comfortable with basic welding techniques and wants to advance into full certification.
Pay & Certification:
- Start at $23/hr during training
- Increase to $24/hr after passing certification in 3F and 1G positions (MIG & Fluxcore spray arc)
- AWS D1.1 welding certification preferred (or certified within 2 weeks of training)
What You’ll Do:
- Perform MIG and Fluxcore spray arc welding to company standards
- Maintain consistent production and quality levels in your work
- Set up fixtures and operate welding equipment and processes as specified
- Keep welding equipment maintained, calibrated, and in safe working order
- Generate simple written reports to document production activity as required
- Follow all safety procedures at all times
- Take direction well and work effectively with your team
Requirements:
- Some prior welding experience required (school, shop, or previous job)
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Dependable attendance and ability to work a consistent Monday–Thursday schedule
