Location: LaGrange Park, IL
Hours: 5:00AM – 1:30PM (Monday – Friday) — Overtime Available
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Job Summary:
We’re hiring a dependable MIG Welder for a first shift role with one of our well-established manufacturing clients in LaGrange Park. This company designs and builds custom grouting equipment, and they need a hands-on fabricator to help with daily production needs.
Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years MIG welding experience

Ability to read basic dimensional drawings, diagrams, or sketches

Experience with cutting, grinding, drilling, tapping, and general metal fabrication

Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift

English-speaking required, Spanish-speaking a plus

Vocational school background is a plus
-
Forklift experience would be nice but not required
Job Duties:

MIG weld and fuse metal parts per job specs, ensuring proper strength and alignment

Use hand tools, grinders, and fixtures to prep, assemble, and finish jobs

Cut, drill, grind, and form metal parts using hand and power tools

Read and follow dimensional drawings, work orders, or diagrams

Check finished welds for quality and accuracy

Maintain clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures

Assist with general shop duties as needed
