QA Food Safety Technician

Hodgkins, IL

 

10:00AM-6:30PM  $18.00hr

Monday-Friday (Some Saturdays as needed)

 

 

 

 

 Responsibilities Include: 

•  To oversee the Quality Assurance aspects of the Company's operations
• Sanitation and general plant inspection, completion of QA and Food Safety documentation, Inputting of data into online Food Safety Management System
• Helping to prepare for inspections and audits.
• Monitoring policies, programs, and procedures to ensure food safety and quality of product throughout the entire operational process and compliance with all regulatory quality and customer-related requirements affiliated with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Ability to work in a cold environment (< 40 F). Temperature-controlled warehouse.

 

Requirements:

 

• Proficient with computers, Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Prolonged walking, standing, sitting, bending, stopping

• Minimum of 6 months of experience
