Client Sales Specialist – Gourmet Confectionery/Chocolatier

Compensation
- Base Pay: $15.50/hour
- Commission: 12.5% on all closed sales (uncapped earning potential)
- Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours per week (flexible scheduling available)
- Technology & Stipend: $100/month
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales and Account Associate to represent our gourmet confectionery brand. This isn’t your average sales job—you’ll be sharing handcrafted chocolates, sweets, and gourmet confections with clients who appreciate quality and creativity. The right candidate will be a people-person who can turn conversations into lasting client relationships while also embracing technology to grow and track sales, communicate with accounts, and manifest new business opportunities. If you’re a self-starter who loves both sweets and sales, this role offers the perfect blend of fun and professional challenge with generous compensation. Involves working remotely and independently with routine scheduled meetings with the owner to stay abreast of sales plans and production timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, contact, and build relationships with new leads and clients, both in-store and through outreach, ensuring every interaction reflects the fun and high-quality experience of our brand.
- Manage and grow assigned accounts by anticipating client needs, offering personalized recommendations, and delivering exceptional service.
- Meet and exceed sales goals consistently, leveraging a 12.5% commission incentive that rewards performance and hustle.
- Collaborate with Lilett’s President to create new sales strategies, marketing ideas, and customer loyalty initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using customer retention systems and communication platforms.
- Stay up to date on products and promotions, becoming an expert in our chocolates and confections so you can confidently educate clients and upsell effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail, specialty foods, online sales, account management, or customer service is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to create rapport quickly and build trust.
- Self-motivated and goal-driven, able to work independently without constant supervision.
- Must provide a reliable personal technology setup (laptop or desktop computer, smartphone, high-speed internet) to handle sales, digital outreach, and online sales platforms.
- Comfortable using CRM systems, communication apps, and digital sales tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, marketing, or hospitality is a plus.
