Job Full Description
We are looking for a Surface Mining Operator who has proven experience operating heavy machinery. This position is FT, long-term with great benefits and growth. Pay starts at $21/hr, 1st and 3rd shifts are available. 6am - 6pm or 6pm - 6am, 4days/week. Must be available to work weekends as schedule requires.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a valid DL. Class A or B is a plus
- Must have manual transmission experience
- Must have MSHA paperwork or willing to obtain
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as; tractors, bobcats, backhoe, excavators, tractors, or semis.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background requirements
DUTIES:
- Operate heavy equipment on a daily basis such as, excavators, haul trucks, bulldozers to facilitate in moving dirt, equipment, and facilitate in surface mining activities
- Conduct routine inspections & maintenance of machinery
- Follow OSHA Safety regulations and company policies daily
- Assist with set up and operation of equipment
- Support other construction sites as needed
