Delivery Driver| 8:30AM – 5:00PM | $18.00/hr - $21.00/hr
Days of the week: Mon – Fri (every other Saturday) or Tue - Saturday
Decatur, IL – Delivery of commercial and residential packages for FedEx.
Job Requirements for Delivery Driver
- Previous delivery experience is a plus but not required
- Able to lift and carry packages
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and carry up to 150 lbs using a dolly
- A valid driver’s license (CDL not required)
- A good driving record
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills need to interact with customers and dispatchers
Job Responsibilities for Delivery Driver
- Deliver and pick up packages in a courteous and efficient manner
- Determine route for 100-150 scheduled stops per day
- Ensure time commitments for sensitive packages are met
- Use handheld device to scan packages
- Operate the vehicle in a safe manner
- Interact with customers to answer questions, handle complaints, and obtain signatures when needed
- Maintain accurate records
