Logistics Specialist
Location: Joliet, IL
Pay Rate: $20.00–$22.00 per hour
About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Logistics Specialist to join our team in Joliet! In this role, you’ll be responsible for executing customer vehicle relocation service orders and managing the supporting business operations that keep everything running smoothly. You’ll handle order management, scheduling, and ensure all customer and operational details are accurately recorded in our CRM system. Daily communication by phone and email with staff, Independent Contractors (ICs), and pickup/delivery contacts is essential.
What You’ll Do:

Manage and execute customer vehicle relocation orders

Move and park vehicles as needed in the parking lot

Jump-start vehicles when necessary

Work outside in various weather conditions

Maintain accurate CRM and operational records

Communicate effectively with staff, ICs, and customer contacts

Make and receive phone calls to coordinate pickups and deliveries

Schedule appointments and track order progress

Review and verify invoices for accuracy

Handle general correspondence (sending and receiving)
What You’ll Need:
-
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Experience: 0–2 years in logistics, inventory management, or a related field

Driver’s License: Valid license with a clean driving record
-
Other: Must be comfortable jump-starting vehicles and working outdoors in the elements; must pass a criminal and credit background check; ability to park vehicles in tight spaces
