Job Title: Production Floor Supervisor
Location: Joliet, IL
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $20 – $25 per hour, based on experience
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Production Floor Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations on the production floor. This role is critical for ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, and driving operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet performance goals.
- Enforce all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Monitor and improve productivity using Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement principles.
- Train and develop team members to ensure cross-functional capabilities.
- Collaborate with management to achieve quality and operational targets.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a 3PL or production environment.
- Strong background in Lean Six Sigma and process improvement.
- Proven ability to lead teams, enforce safety standards, and meet production metrics.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Priority Qualifications:
- 3PL experience.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt preferred).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
