Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Technician – Manufacturing

Location: Romeoville, IL
Shift: 3rd Shift, 11:00 PM
Pay: $35–$42 per hour, based on experience
Job Type: Full-Time

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our manufacturing team in Romeoville. This role is critical in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining equipment, and supporting production efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has strong electro-mechanical experience, a background in food processing or packaging, and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma

• Experience:

  • 5+ years in a manufacturing environment

  • 5+ years of electro-mechanical experience

  • Knowledge of food processing or packaging equipment

• Specific Skills:

  • Ability to work safely and effectively with minimal supervision

• Equipment & Machinery:

  • Knowledge of electrical wiring, controls, PLCs

  • Familiarity with mechanical systems including bearings, shafts, rollers, and pneumatics

• Computer & Software:

  • Experience with Allen Bradley Logix/Studio 5000

Responsibilities:

• Conduct yourself in a safe and courteous manner in accordance with company policies and procedures

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment failures

• Perform preventive maintenance routines

• Conduct site-specific checks of facility systems

• Efficiently communicate plant issues in a timely manner

• Work responsibly to find long-term, value-added solutions

• Other responsibilities and projects as assigned
