Job Title: Pallet Repair Team Member Location: Joliet, IL Pay Rate: $20/hour Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
About the Role We are looking for motivated individuals to join our pallet repair team in Joliet. This is a physically demanding role, but anyone with basic carpentry or framing experience—or experience in a prefab shop—can quickly learn the quality standards and meet daily production goals.
Responsibilities

Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic nail guns

Perform basic repairs and troubleshooting with mechanical aptitude

Inspect and repair pallets to meet PECO quality standards

Maintain physical stamina: lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in varying temperatures

Follow safety protocols and properly use PPE

Manage time effectively to meet daily repair quotas

Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly
Qualifications

Previous experience in pallet repair, woodworking, or general labor

Familiarity with warehouse or production environments

Forklift certification or experience (preferred)

Basic quality control knowledge for inspecting and verifying repairs

Strong teamwork and communication skills
